Finding the right body brush for dry brushing is hard… some are too soft, and some are too hard, it needs to be just right. We have searched high and low to find this perfectly textured brush that you will love to use.
Dry brushing is an easy way to boost the immune system, stimulate lymphatic flow, improve circulation, decrease cellulite and gently exfoliate the skin. Dry brushing can be done at any time on dry skin, but right before a shower is best. It only takes a few minutes and works wonders on the skin.
When the skin is exfoliated anybody oil that is applied will be more easily absorbed. This meant better results with less product.
The key is to always brush towards the heart, this is very important.
Start with gentle, but firm strokes, it shouldn’t hurt. Start at your toes and work your way up the leg to the inguinal area (where your legs meet your torso), then from your fingers up your arm and into the armpit area, then brush your stomach area towards the inguinal area, and gently over the breast area towards the armpits. For your back, just do the best you can directing the strokes to the armpit or inguinal area, depending on if you are brushing your upper or lower back areas. All up it should take just a few minutes. When finished, just hop in the shower and rinse off all the dead skin, super easy. Follow with your favorite body oil right out of the shower, while the skin is still slightly wet.
