This is a super charged immune boosting tea, with great anti-viral benefits, to help keep your body strong during these crazy, unprecedented times!
Aside from washing hands and social distancing, a strong immune system is the best defense we can have right now. Herbs can be a wonderful way to strengthen the immune system and keep the body healthy. If you are wanting to bolster your immune system, this is the tea for you!
Our Immune Boost - ES (extra strength) Herbal Tea is based on the herbal formulas used in a few of the hospitals in China, for their medical staff. Not all the herbs in those formulas are available at the moment, so this tea is not an exact match, but those formulas were our starting point. The American palette doesn’t usually appreciate super bitter herbs so we have added a few herbs to help with the taste. However, the herbs that are included in the tea are great for boosting the immune system as well as strengthening the body, along with great anti-virals, including some that work against the coronavirus family.
Each bag should make between 30 and 40 cups of tea, depending on how you make it.
Please note: This is not your typical steeped tea, it’s an herbal decoction. It needs to be boiled; it can NOT be steeped. Please refer to the directions before making this tea.
Pregnant or nursing women and small children should NOT use this tea.
Ingredients: Astragalus Root (Huang Qi), Atractylodes (Bai Zhu – Chao), Siler Root (Fang Feng), Japanese Honeysuckle (Jin Yin Hua), Houttuynia (Yu Xing Cao), Forsythia Fruit (Lian Qiao), Coix (Yi Yi Ren), Elderberries, Isatis Root (Ban Lan Gen), Bitter Orange Peel (Zhi Shi), Cinnamon Bark (Rou Gui), Chinese Gallnut (Wu Bei Zi), Goji Berry (Gou Qi Zi), Schisandra Berry (Wu Wei Zi), Licorice Root (Gan Cao), Boneset (Pei Lan)

We are excited to offer our herbal teas in fully compostable bags, made from non-GMO bio-based material. So, please remember to compost your used herbs, along with the bag the tea arrives in.
